A、 Start and Run the Pump
(a) Start
1. Check if the pump is running in the correct direction. When checking the direction of the motor, do not connect the coupling first, confirm that the direction is correct before connecting the coupling, or confirm whether the direction is consistent with the direction indicated by the direction indicator by jogging.
2. Rotate the coupling by hand, feeling it should be easy and even in weight, and pay attention to distinguishing whether there is friction sound and foreign rolling noise inside the pump. If there is, try to eliminate it.
3. When operating in reverse flow mode, open the inlet valve to supply the liquid source. When suction is applied, the pump must be filled with liquid first.
(b) Operation
4. The unit shall be put into trial operation for 5-10 minutes. If there are no abnormalities, it can be put into operation. If there are no abnormalities, it can be put into operation.
5. Regularly check the temperature rise of the pump and motor. The temperature rise of the bearings should not exceed 40 ℃, and the maximum temperature should not exceed 90 ℃. For insulated motors, the maximum temperature rise when the ambient temperature is 40 ℃ is 90 ℃, and the allowable maximum temperature is 130 ℃.
6. When the head of the pump device is less than the rated head of the pump, the outlet valve must be closed and the machine must be stopped immediately for inspection. Only after the fault is eliminated can it continue to operate.
7. During operation, if abnormal sounds or other faults are found, the machine should be immediately shut down for inspection. Only after the fault is eliminated can the machine continue to operate.
(c) Shutdown
8. Close the outlet valve first, then cut off the power supply to the motor.
9. Close the inlet valve.
10. Keep the exterior and environment of the pump clean.
11. If the ambient temperature is lower than the liquid solidification temperature after shutdown, the liquid in the pump should be drained to prevent freezing and cracking.
12. For pumps that have been discontinued for a long time, in addition to draining the corrosive liquid inside the pump, the pump chamber should also be cleaned with clean water, especially the sealing components. The inlet and outlet of the pump should be carefully rinsed and sealed, and properly stored.
B、 Repair and maintenance
13. Regularly inspect the pump and motor, and replace vulnerable parts.
14. When not in use for a long time, the pump should be cleaned and the power should be cut off.
15. Air transportation is strictly prohibited. If the pump is outdoors, rainproof measures should be taken to prevent the motor from being damaged by moisture.
